Our Enabling Technology Services (also known as Assistive Technology) provide innovative tools and customized solutions that help each person live more independently—whether at home, at work, or in the community.

Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS): Easy-to-use devices that provide immediate access to help in case of emergencies—offering peace of mind and reducing the risk of institutionalization.

Smart Home Technology: Devices such as automated lighting, environmental controls, sensors, or voice-activated assistants that promote independence and reduce the need for around-the-clock in-person staffing.

Customized Assistive Devices: Commercial or modified equipment tailored to meet individual needs—supporting daily living tasks, communication, mobility, and health and safety.

Employment Support Technology: Tools that help individuals participate fully in work environments, manage tasks, and stay connected to their employment goals.
Now Offering Remote Support and Staffing Options:
Through Enabling Technology, we are proud to offer Remote Services and Remote Staffing as an additional layer of support. Using technology-enabled monitoring and communication systems, our trained staff can provide supervision, coaching, prompts, or check-ins from a remote location—helping individuals receive the support they need, when they need it, while maintaining privacy and independence at home.
Remote services are always individualized, based on the person’s needs and preferences, and outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
