About Health & Joy Services

Founded in March 2018, Health & Joy Services is dedicated to providing essential, person-centered supports that meet both the needs and wants of the people we serve. Guided by dignity, respect, and strength-based thinking, we focus on what is both important to and important for each person—ensuring that their preferences, goals, and quality of life remain at the heart of everything we do.

We are committed to providing vital and ethical support for individuals who have been psychologically diagnosed and are living with intellectual disabilities. Offering care that is ethical, professional, and compassionate. Our team is backed by licensed clinicians and experienced medical professionals who bring years of expertise in the Human Services field.

As a certified Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver provider, Health & Joy Services is approved through both the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and the Department on Disability Services (DDS) in DC, as well as the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
